We have developed a catalogue of online sessions that we can deliver remotely to continue our work engaging and inspiring young people about careers in construction and the built environment!
The online e-learning sessions currently include: Apprenticeship Q&A, Finding and Applying to Apprenticeships and Careers Networking. The sessions are career focussed, and enable young people to build their employability skills and discover alternative routes into the industry.
By using online platforms, we can continue to engage young people interested in a career in construction with interactive and informative resources and support.
For young people on the brink of their career journeys, meaningful employer engagements are pivotal when making decisions about next steps. Our online sessions will remain employer-led, with industry volunteers engaging virtually so that young people can benefit from the knowledge and experience of those in the know.
Our Apprenticeships Q&A session, for example, will see young people able to question a panel of volunteers in real-time about their roles, their career journeys and advice on entering the industry, mediated by Trust staff.
These online solutions will enable Construction Youth Trust to continue to inspire and enable young people to overcome barriers and discover a career in the construction and built environment sector. We can’t wait for them to go live!
