Construction Youth Trust is a forward-thinking charity whose mission is to help young people reach their full potential and take their first steps towards a rewarding working life. We prepare young people for the world of work, support them to build their skills and confidence and connect them with opportunities and employers aligned with their individual strengths and interests. We prioritise young people from disadvantaged backgrounds, under-represented groups and those facing significant barriers to work.

Due to an increase in demand for our work, we are seeking to expand our committed team. We strongly believe that a diverse and inclusive team is vital to our work. Intern

Salary: London Living Wage

Location:  You will be based at our London office in Bermondsey but will be expected to travel across London boroughs and occasionally beyond London

12 month fixed contract. Full-Time, Part-Time and Term-Time working will be considered.

Our interns play a key role within Construction Youth Trust, supporting the charity across many different departments. We currently have a number of potential intern opportunities available and we are interested to hear from individuals who are passionate about supporting young people to achieve their full career potential and seeking to gain valuable experience within the charity sector.

We are seeking to expand our committed team of youth coordinators who work directly with young people, as well as build relationships with referral partners, community groups and potential employers. An important focus of our Youth Progression Coordinator role is to help young people furthest from the jobs market to prepare for the world of work and achieve positive progress on their individual career journey.

Head of Fundraising and Development

Salary: £40,000 to £45,000 p.a. FTE, dependent upon experience

Location: Based at our London office in Bermondsey. There may be some flexibility but we would expect the ability to travel to London at least 2-3 days a week. 

Permament full-time contract.

We are looking for a Head of Fundraising & Development to join our friendly team and lead on the Trust’s fundraising and marketing strategy. We are seeking a dynamic, ambitious and persuasive professional who can build on the Trust’s achievements and use our fundraising success as a platform for growth. The Trust has a wide range of stakeholders – employer partners, trusts & foundations, corporate sponsors, statutory funders, as well as young people, schools, colleges, teachers, careers advisors, community partners and a dedicated team of industry volunteers - so we are seeking someone who can persuade and communicate effectively at many different levels. In addition to developing existing and new income streams for the Trust, an important aspect of this role is ensuring our key messages are communicated in a lively and engaging way that inspires all our stakeholders.  This role would be perfect for a professional who is passionate about young people and is seeking a high level of responsibility across a wide range of fundraising and marketing activities.
