Inspiring and supporting young people in North Kent supported by the Colyer-Fergusson Charitable Trust

We are absolutely delighted to have received funding from the Colyer-Fergusson Charitable Trust enabling us to continue to improve the careers prospects of young people facing significant disadvantage in North Kent.

The generous funding from the Colyer-Fergusson Charitable Trust will allow us to continue developing our established networks with schools, organisations and employers in the area, both as part of our Investing in Young People and Investing in Rehabilitation programmes.

Through the Investing in Young People programme we have been working with a number of North Kent schools and look forward to continuing our work connecting young people with genuine opportunities for employment and training in the construction and built environment sector, acting as a single point of contact between schools and industry.

We are also very excited to extend our Investing in Rehabilitation programme. The programme is aimed at young people who have become disillusioned about their future prospects and disengaged from their communities.

The programme combines individualised careers support including 1-1 mentoring, advice and guidance about best next steps as well as practical skills building and the attainment of industry qualifications, empowering and enabling young people to decide upon their own next steps based on their skills and interests.

Thank you to the Colyer-Fergusson Charitable Trust for your support! We look forward to growing these programmes so that we are able to continue to provide the best quality support for young people in the North Kent area.
