Peter Marchant, Trustee “We are pleased that the industry has recognised the value and potential of this project at this early stage.”
The project aims to assist young people from deprived communities in South Wales to access introductory training and awareness of construction and encourage them to progress into training and employment in the industry.
The Construction Youth Trust is committed to removing barriers and bridging the gap between communities and employers. The Trust enables local young people to maximise the benefits available to them as a result of the massive regeneration projects happening throughout Wales. Over the next couple of months the Trust will be launching new initiatives across south Wales in Neath Port Talbot and Rhondda Cynon Taff.
