The Trust is proud to announce that we have been selected as the charity partner for the Inspire Awards for the second year in a row!
The awards recognise the people & organisations who are reaching out to inspire a new generation - irrespective of gender, race, religion, sexual orientation, age, or disability - to embrace a career in the building industry.
The event, organised by UKBE Ltd, brings together the most inclusive companies and inspiring individuals working in construction, engineering and housing.
The Trust’s CEO Carol Lynch will be one of the industry judges and said: “The awards celebrate those within industry who not only recognise the need for greater diversity in the Construction and Built Environment, but are working towards creating an inclusive and dynamic sector. This passion for change is at the heart of the Trust’s work and I’m delighted to have been asked to participate in the awards.”

Joe Broun, managing director of UKBE Ltd, said: “With an ongoing skills crisis set to be further exacerbated by Brexit, it is vital that the UK construction sector diversifies its workforce, to truly reflect today’s society. The Inspire Awards aims to help the industry to break down barriers that are preventing people from joining or staying in the sector and to inspire the next generation”.
