Routes Into Construction apprenticeship success with WJ

After completing a two week work experience placement with WJ, Ryan Weston has been offered a road marking apprenticeship.

WJ has been working with Construction Youth Trust on the Routes Into Construction programme to provide work placements for young people based at WJ’s office in Croydon and working at sites throughout London.

Female Camden residents take part in a Budding Builders carpentry course at Kings Cross Construction Skills Centre

After four weeks of training, three Camden women have successfully completed a Budding Builders Carpentry course. During their time with the Trust trainees gained an OCN London Level 1 Health and Safety in a Construction Environment. Skyline Challenge 2015

Yesterday teams from across the construction industry raced up 37 floors of the Heron Tower to help young people to reach new heights.

The Heron Tower stands at 755ft tall, the tallest building in the City of London, and proved to be a real challenge even for even the most experienced climbers! The beautiful weather provided perfect conditions for a breathtaking panoramic view over London, and the after-event celebrations with cocktails from Kampai Cocktails certainly went down well.
