Amanzhol was studying A-levels at Pimlico Academy when he attended our employer-led ‘Introduction to Property Development’ programme. Supported by industry professionals, he and his fellow students took part in a team challenge to develop their own masterplan for a high profile site in central London. Amanzhol and his team presented their ideas to a panel of industry experts, who were hugely impressed with the calibre and creativity of the students’ ideas.
This in-depth exposure to the Built Environment sector inspired Amanzhol to study Architecture and he was delighted to be offered a place at Cambridge University.
“Construction Youth Trust gave me exposure to a wide range of careers in the Built Environment sector and the opportunity to network with industry professionals. This experience really strengthened my UCAS statement and I am sure helped me stand out from other candidates when I was applying for a University place.”
